Don’t Put Limits on Your Dreams, Tatyana McFadden
In the Human Factor, a segment of CNN profiles by Trisha Henry, she interviewed Tatyana McFadden, whose journey has taken her from an orphanage in Russia to the United States, where she’s become one of the fastest wheelchair racers in the world. Tatyana, nicknamed “Beast”, was born in St. Petersburg, Russia with spina bifida. Now the three-time Summer Paralympian is replacing her wheelchair with a sit-ski, competing in a new sport for her in the country where she was born.
Tatyana will be competing in the cross country sprint, 5 kilometer, 10 kilometer and mixed relay. You can see her compete in her first event tomorrow (March 9). You can follow her on Twitter or see her Sochi results here.
