Meet the 14-year-old snowboarder making history at Sochi Paralympics
It’s never too young to start making your dreams come true. Fourteen-year old Sydney snowboarder Ben Tudhope will become Australia’s youngest winter Paralympian ever as he was introduced to the team Tuesday. Tudhope, who has cerebral palsy and partial paralysis on his left side, has been training and competing in Europe since November in a bid to earn a wildcard spot on Australia’s team for the Games.
“Whether it’s your first Games or your second, third or fourth, it is always a great honour to represent your country and I look forward to watching the team’s performances…” APC president Glenn Tasker said.
