Paralympic Classification: Explained

All athletes who want to pursue Paralympic level competition need to be medically classified. The goal of classification is to make competition fair for all involved. This process involves two main parts including a medial exam and an observation during competition.

In this video Russ Myer, an International Paralympic Classifier for the sports of Nordic and Biathlon, explains this process.
