The Big Red Ball: Beep Kickball for All

Every kid remembers the school yard and that big red ball.  Kickball is now more inclusive as they have added a device to the ball that beeps. The game is now played by kids with visually impaired who are kicking, running, and sliding into base.

“It’s played with 3 pieces of equipment. A kickball that beeps, 2 bases which buzz, and blindfolds. All the kids wear blindfolds to equalize the differences in vision.” explains Judy Byrd, the founder of beep kickball.
