Wheelchair Curling Captain: Third Paralympics, Same Patented Enthusiasm
NEW HARTFORD, NY – Jimmy “Jimmy Jam” Joseph will be competing in his third Paralympics this year on Team USA’s Wheelchair Curling team. Jimmy is well known for his patented enthusiasm that follows every shot with a spirited cries of “come on!” or “that’s it!” or “got to be better!”
Joseph will join teammates Penny Greely from Green Bay, Wisconsin, Patrick McDonald from Madison, Wisconsin, and Dave Palmer from Cape Cod, Massachusetts in Sochi this week. Joseph stated, “This year, I know we are going to medal because I’m so confident in this team. I believe this team is peaking right now.” Team USA will start their quest for gold March 8 and expect the teams from Canada and Scotland to be Team USA’s toughest competition.
